I support Decriminalization rather than legalization. The difference? End criminal possession laws. Possession is not a crime, actions and behaviors are.

NAFTA is not free trade, it is regulated trade. The law is far too complicated. We need simple, easy to understand laws.

I would support a simple, clear GATT agreement. I am not sure the current agreement is either simple or \ clear.

I believe abortion is a fact of life which will happen regardless of our personal preference. We must not punish those who see abortion as the only solution to a crisis pregnancy. We have to accept the choices others make for themselves and their families. Education, understanding and prosperity will end abortion. We must help thos facing a crisis pregnancy with options that meet their needs rather than using force vis a vis government to bring unwanted children into the world to face abuse and rejection.

      > > ______________________________________________ > > > >09. What is your position on the legalization of > > homosexual marriage, civil union, or > > registered partner legislation? > > > >[ X ] Support, [ ] Oppose, [ ] I Don't know.

With the understanding that this is a civil union. Marriage is a religious institution and as such should be determined by church leaders not politicians. Separate Chruch and State on this issue.

      > > > >10. There are current efforts in various levels of > > government to add "affectional or sexual > > orientation" or similar language to either > > civil rights or employment laws. What are > > your thoughts about such law changes? > > > >[ ] Support, [ X ] Oppose, [ ] I Don't know.

Every individual has the same rights as any other individual. The smallest minority is the individual. Protect our lives, liberty and property. Leave our private lives alone.

The Constitution prhibits a state church, it does not deny religion. Those who wish to pray should be permitted to do so. Those who do not should be excused.

I do not think MFN is a desirable policy. Trade agreements should be based on what the other nation does as far as tariffs, etc.

This is a medical ethics decision best left to the physicians and research scientists.

Medical research belongs in medical centers and Universities not government agencies.

This does not include invasion of other nations. It does includes Letters of Marque and Reprisal.

I would also support banning all unwanted emails. We can ask for the information we wish to have sent to us. If we are not in the market for a product, we do not need the advertisement forced on us.

The First Amendment says Congress shall make no law regarding the establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free excercise thereof, ... Nothing more. This ruling prohibits the free excercise thereof.

A Driver's license is a permit to use government roads, nothing more. Making it more than it is, is the real problem. Issue passports and other photo IDs. Stop using Driver's licenses and social security numbers as ID.

Neither. Let churches define Marriage and let the State grant legal contracts.
